The Animal Foundation of Cleveland and the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo are organizing the ninth annual Meet Your Best Friend at the Zoo event.  Twenty three animal rescue groups and shelters will be in attendance with adoptable cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies.

  In addition to adoptions, there are demonstrations held throughout the day, and pet- related  vendors will be on-site to provide information about animal care, the special relationship between pet and owner and giving out coupons and samples. 

The event will be on Saturday, June 14th starting from 10 AM to 4 PM in front of the main entrance to the Cleveland Metropark Zoo.

This has been an enormously successful event in the past, and the previous events have resulted in hundreds of successful adoptions.  Help us make this year the most successful.  Come meet your best friend at the zoo!

The mission of the Animal Foundation of Cleveland, Inc. (AFC) is to increase the adoption rate to 100 percent of all adoptable homeless animals impounded in Northeast Ohio through accredited area shelters and rescue groups, community and adoption events, education and outreach, and promoting responsible pet ownership including veterinary services, spay/neuter, pet care and behavioral training.
